Le Ciel / Correspondence
Privacy.
Le Ciel is a fragrance house based in Turkey. This notice explains the information collected when you join our correspondence list.
What your signup includes
When you subscribe, we store:
- Your email address, with a normalized copy to avoid duplicate entries.
- The page you signed up from, including the fragrance page when applicable.
- Your signup, last-request and withdrawal dates; subscription status; and the notice version and language shown.
Why we keep it
Your signup records your request to receive Le Ciel correspondence about the collection and the house. It does not create a shopping account or place an order. Joining is optional.
Language preferences
If you have not chosen a language, we show Turkish regardless of your country. You can switch to English in the navigation menu. We do not use your location to choose a language.
When you choose English or Turkish, we remember your choice in a language preference cookie for one year. You can change it in the navigation menu at any time. This does not change your delivery country, currency or ordering eligibility.
Order addresses
Your address details are used for this order’s delivery and billing. Check the neighbourhood, avenue or street, building, apartment and postal code before saving.
Your information, your choice
To ask about the information held for your signup, correct your address, or request removal from the correspondence list, contact the house at the address below.
support@lecielparfumerie.comAnalytics and masked session replay
Google Analytics 4 and Microsoft Clarity load only after you allow the analytics category. Neither tool loads before a decision, after rejection or without valid permission; cookieless analytics is not started either. Advertising storage, advertising personalisation and Google Signals stay off. Global privacy control and do-not-track browser signals are respected.
Google Analytics measures pages, language, referring domain, suitable campaign labels, link and button interactions, scroll depth, visible focused time and defined product, cart and checkout events. With your permission and valid client/session identifiers supplied by Google’s browser tag, real purchases and refunds verified against native commerce records can also be reported from our server to Google Analytics. Simply opening the confirmation page does not count as a purchase. It uses a one-way hashed transaction identifier and verified product/amount information rather than customer details. Where a refund cannot reliably be allocated to merchandise, tax and delivery, a custom event reports only the gross refund; it does not represent a merchandise-revenue refund.
Microsoft Clarity creates heatmaps and masked recordings on public pages to understand mouse and touch movement, clicks, scrolling, navigation and signs of friction. Text is hidden with strict masking. Cart, checkout, payment return, order confirmation and order tracking pages are not recorded by Clarity; those steps use defined measurement events only. The contents of the card-entry area are not observed.
Names, emails, phone numbers, street addresses, personal form entries and payment/order-access keys are not sent as measurement parameters. Google Analytics page locations omit query strings and fragments. Clarity stops on unsuitable URLs, and supported campaign and selection query values are redacted in recordings. Network connections are also subject to the providers’ privacy terms; this data is not described as fully anonymous.
Google Analytics cookies _ga and _ga_* are configured for at most 365 days. Clarity may use _clck for one year, _clsk for one day and _cltk in browser session storage. A technical purchase marker may be stored locally to reduce duplicate events and is treated as expired after 365 days. For browser purchase fallback, time windows of consent while Google’s tag was ready may remain in local storage for at most 71 hours, without Google identifiers in that record. A technical HttpOnly leciel_analytics_context cookie lasts at most 90 days and lets you withdraw permission for linked carts even after cart/payment cookies disappear. Server client/session identifiers and consent context are retained no longer than consent expiry or 90 days. A purchase requires browser-refreshed consent within the preceding five minutes for that cart; a visible page refreshes it roughly every minute without holding up shopping. A later confirmed refund of that reported purchase may be measured under the same still-valid, unwithdrawn consent without reopening the old cart. Newly granted consent does not backfill previous outcomes. Withdrawal removes this domain’s known provider cookies and purchase markers and stops new browser collection. When our server receives withdrawal it permanently suppresses unsent reports and removes Google identifiers from linked contexts. At that point the context cookie may remain only to enforce rejection; an HttpOnly leciel_analytics_revoke record may also remain until withdrawal completes. Our server cannot know about an offline or blocked withdrawal immediately, and a report already in flight cannot be recalled. Delivery for outcomes recorded with valid consent may continue after the browser closes. Cart, payment and language records remain. Data previously sent with permission remains subject to provider retention and deletion policies.
Google and Microsoft may process data outside Turkey. Cookie choices do not replace separate international-transfer legal obligations. Browser blocking, connection failures and the payment provider’s separate domain prevent a guarantee of complete movement capture. You can change your choice using Manage Cookie Preferences in the footer of any page.
